Jim Allen the president of the VALKYRIES of MANATEE R.C. CLUB has taking it upon himself to accept the land 26 miles east of I-75 that Manatee County has offered the Valkyries for a flying site. This decision was made without the approval of the club members.
To get to the land take State Road 64 east 26 miles past I-75 and look for the Bear Bay Road sign on the left turn, left onto Bear Bay Road take Bear Bay Road 2 miles north to the end and turn left again and take Bear Bay Road another .25 miles to the first gate there are two gates that you will have to go through. The 2nd gate will be on the left about 50 to 60 ft past the first gate.
The land is about 34.25 miles east of 9th St. and Manatee Avenue in down town Bradenton.
or 26 miles past I-75 and State Road 64.

Jim Allen picked up the safety fence the transmitter impound board and the chairs from my house where it was stored for the club.
Jim Allen is now in charge of organizing the build of a sun shelter, installing safety fence the and the transmitter impound board.
