The Galah UAV
What in the world is a Galah ?
The Galah is an Australian pink cockatoo.

The Galah UAV is a new low cost modular design twinboom pusher Laser cut airframe that is available as a kit, a complete aircraft or anywhere in between
The airframe is 1.830 m long with a wingspan of 2.380 m.
The front payload compartment is 530 mm long, 160 mm wide and is 185 mm deep at the leading edge of the wing and 110 mm deep at the nose.
The fuel tank compartment is 265 mm long,160 mm wide, 165 mm deep and will accommodate a 1500 ml fuel tank.
This aircraft will easily accommodate 35 cc to 60 cc two or four stroke engines with up to a 600 mm diameter propeller.
The fuselage and wing is built up from lite plywood and balsa wood sheeting.
It can be  painted, covered or covered in fiberglass.
The left and right outer wing panels are interchangeable, this is done so if
a replacement wing panel is ever required you just order one wing panel and
you can't get the wrong panel, the tail booms are made from aluminum tubing
and can be replaced very easy.
The front payload compartment bolts onto the center fuselage section and can
be removed for shipping as can the outer wing panels, the tail booms and the
vertical and horizontal stabilizers. The 28 mm diameter 1535 mm long
aluminum wing spar tube runs from the center of the left outer wing panel to
the center of the right wing panel this done for strength.
